Privacy policy

PaperLight is a local spot paper-trading simulator for supported Axiom, Padre, Dex Screener and Fomo routes. Version 2.4.0 supports separate Solana, Robinhood Chain, BNB and Base paper accounts. Network availability depends on the platform and installed version. It does not connect a cryptocurrency wallet, request a signature, submit a blockchain transaction, place a real order, run a hosted account backend, sell data, or operate an advertising or analytics service.

Information PaperLight handles

• Supported-page information: the supported URL, exact Solana, Robinhood Chain, BNB or Base token or pair, token identity, visible market values, chart bars, and supported discovery-card values needed to run the simulator.
• Local paper-wallet information: optional wallet names and profile images, simulated balances, positions, fills, completed trades, watchlists, calendar results, plans, notes, presets, layouts, safeguards, and recovery records.
• Local safeguard credential: a random salt, PBKDF2-SHA-256 verifier, and iteration count. The PIN itself is not stored and is not a real-wallet or online-account credential.
• Optional share information: the P&L card and template text the user explicitly chooses to copy or share. PaperLight never presses X's final Post button.

PaperLight does not intentionally read general browsing history, browser cookies, authentication tokens, private keys, wallet seed phrases, real wallet balances, or real transaction history.

Local storage and retention

Wallets, settings, ledgers, profile images, PIN verifiers, layouts, and bounded recovery records use chrome.storage.local. Short-lived backup previews and share payloads use chrome.storage.session. Live marks, decoded images, queues, and temporary observations remain in memory.

The unlimitedStorage permission allows local ledgers and their recovery copies to exceed Chrome's default quota; it does not add a hosted database or transmit the records. Exported backups contain private paper-wallet data and should be kept securely outside the browser profile.

Local records remain until the user resets or replaces a paper wallet, clears extension storage, removes PaperLight, or deletes the Chrome profile. PaperLight retains bounded ledger detail rather than unlimited history.

Public market-data and image services

For the exact supported token or pair, PaperLight may make read-only HTTPS requests to Dex Screener and, for supported Solana routes, Jupiter and Pump, plus approved token-image hosts operated by or associated with Dex Screener, Padre, Arweave, Jupiter, Axiom, RapidLaunch, X, IPFS, Irys, DataSprite, DigitalOcean Spaces, BundleIt and Mobula. Fomo token artwork may use metadata.mobula.io and Padre artwork may use thumbnails.padre.gg; image requests omit credentials and referrers.

Those requests can disclose the requested token or pair identifier and ordinary network information such as the user's IP address to the receiving service. PaperLight adds no PaperLight account, real-wallet, advertising, or analytics identifier. Each receiving service processes requests under its own privacy terms.

Optional X sharing

PaperLight requests X and Chrome scripting access only after the user selects Share to X. That action opens the logged-in composer, inserts visible template text, and attempts to attach the locally generated image. If attachment cannot be confirmed, PaperLight copies the image and asks the user to paste it. The user must review the draft and press Post.

Use and sharing

Information is used only to identify the supported token, calculate and record simulated fills and P&L, render local charts and reports, enforce local safeguards, resolve public token metadata and art, and perform an optional user-initiated X share.

PaperLight does not sell, rent, license, or transfer user information for advertising, creditworthiness, or unrelated purposes. It has no telemetry or hosted user database. No human reviewer receives the user's local ledger through PaperLight.

User choices

Users can disable Padre quick buys, decline or revoke optional X access, reset a paper wallet with its configured safeguard PIN, export or import a backup, remove locally entered names and images, clear extension storage, or uninstall PaperLight.

Security, children, and changes

PaperLight uses HTTPS, allowlisted market and image hosts, bounded image handling, route and token validation, and a service-worker-only ledger writer. It is not directed to children under 13. Material data-practice changes will be disclosed and reflected here before use.
